From May 2nd to 4th 2017 SerNet and the international Samba.Team will host the next sambaXP. The Call for Papers</link> and sale of "Early Bird" tickets has started already. The conference returns to Göttingen and the Hotel Freizeit In after the journey to Berlin last year. And it is a perfect birthday - if you are a nerd and regard this conference as Number 0x10 in hexadecimal :-)
The "Call for Papers" section at sambaxp.org offers all information about the conference topics and more details. Abstracts can be submitted until February 28th 2017. Technical presentations are welcome as are case studies. The conference language is English. However, the organizing team would be glad to see submissions in German or any other language as well.
"Early Bird" tickets for the two conference days are available at 399 Euros until February 28th 2017. As usual the sambaXP kicks off on Tuesday (May 2nd) with a tutorial: Tickets for "Managing Samba 4 as domain controllers and Implementing domain trusts" are priced 450 Euro.
Team co-founder Jeremy Allison is chairman of the sambaXP 2017 like last year.
The sambaXP 2017 is dedicated to long time Samba team member Lars Müller, who died early October 2016 at the age of 46.
