The initial inventory of all IT systems at new SerNet customers plays a special role. This step includes the detailed recording of hardware, software and network structures as well as the documentation of central IT processes. This comprehensive as-is analysis enables us to create a solid basis for joint discussions about your IT strategy and future projects.

The documentation always includes a visit report in which we process all areas in which IT is used. We create network plans for levels 2 and 3, i.e. once for networking at the switch level and once for the network configuration in the IP network. The aim of our documentation is to be able to talk about the customer's IT landscape without having to walk through the house or turn on the computer. Good documentation describes the entire IT system and can be stored in a safe place. It is therefore the basis for strategic decisions and at the same time the first building block for emergency management.
