SerNet GmbH is a member of the competence network TeleTrusT - and is allowed to use the mark "IT Security made in Germany" again in 2023 (confirmation certificate). Entitled are companies based in Germany, which commit themselves to TeleTrusT to
- to offer trustworthy IT security solutions,
- to develop and research these in Germany,.
- not to implement backdoors in their products
- and to be GDPR and BDSG compliant.
"IT Security made in Germany" is based on an initiative of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and representatives of the German IT security industry. SerNet is also authorized to carry the "IT Security made in EU" mark.
TeleTrusT claims to be the largest competence network for IT security in Germany and Europe. SerNet joined the network in 2015.
