SaaP #3: Practical knowledge about all aspects of insurance

The participants of the third workshop in our "SerNet as a Platform" (SaaP) series took a trip into the world of insurance: led by Regina Weihrauch from the Göttinger Fairsicherungsbüro, the SerNet trainees explored the multi-faceted world of insurance. They explored topics ranging from private liability and social insurance to occupational disability and household contents insurance.

The workshop not only provided a comprehensive overview of essential insurance policies, but also provided in-depth insights into the practices of insurance companies, brokers and structured sales. The workshop focused on showing the young participants which insurance policies are important for their personal and professional future. The participants found the opportunity to actively engage with topics beyond their usual area of expertise particularly valuable.

SaaP aims to support young talents not only professionally, but also in their personal and professional development. The program addresses topics that are often neglected in regular studies or training and emphasizes the value of the company as a platform for growth and education. Through this initiative, SerNet ensures that its young employees, trainees and students are well prepared not only in their core competence, IT, but also in areas relevant to everyday life.
